There is a very time since Nissan finish it Nissan cefiro ,and step up to separate to Nissan Teana ,and Maxima ,but while the plan came in to the global car plan which the new way of company.Nissan Teana will be affect to merge with it cousin soon.
It is still not confirm,but according to the Best car ; Japanese Car magazine ,this could be happen ,and the new model of mid-size appear to be ready to roll-out for the customer.
In the magazine they show the picture to told us on 2013 Nissan Teana came with more likely current 370Z design with Nissan Ellure concept body line ,also the front grill tail light-and head light with long wheel base ,and narrow body style like the current one.
The plan L42L have been announce last year which believe to be the plan for the new mid-size car ,and many believe this plan is set for global product for mid-size car from Nissan,Anyway the merge between Nissan Teana ,and Nissan March may be taken up to 2016 ,but it appear Nissan plan on the new model came with more European car like with sportiness

I work at Nissan, and this is the new 2013 Altima due out in May 2012, this is the next global vehicle and will share the same design with the “non-US Altima” a.k.a. Nissan Teana.
